We have a highly skilled and experienced team who can quickly give relief from pain and treat many different acute dental issues. If the issue has a wider underlying cause then we will advise on the best course of action to get you quickly on the road to recovery.

What to do in the event of a dental emergency
If you experience a potential dental emergency, take a moment to assess the situation. Keep as calm as possible, and call the practice on 01883 343476.
In the event of an emergency outside our practice hours, call NHS 111.

Doctors at A&E are not normally equipped to handle dental emergencies.
So, you should avoid going to A&E for an issue to do with your teeth unless it is causing complications that are life-threatening – for example, because you are experiencing uncontrolled bleeding or are having difficulty breathing.
If you are experiencing unbearable tooth pain while waiting for a dental appointment, you should take over-the-counter pain medication such as paracetamol or ibuprofen.
You may also try gargling with salt water (taking care to avoid swallowing the water) and/or placing a cold compress or ice pack against your cheek to help numb
