Wrinkle reduction that revives your skin

Azzalure is an anti-wrinkle injection that is only available on prescription. Like Botox, it is a neurotoxin derived from botulinum type A. It is, however, noted for producing softer-looking results than Botox, which is why many people prefer it.

The treatment helps improve the appearance of both Glabellar lines (vertical lines between the eyebrows) and Lateral canthal lines (crow’s feet lines).

Wrinkle reduction FAQs

Is Azzalure stronger than Botox?

No, Azzalure is not generally regarded as being stronger than Botox.

The results of an Azzalure injection can show sooner than is the case for Botox. However, this is due to its smaller molecule size, which allows the body to absorb it faster.

How long does Azzalure take to kick in?

It usually takes between about 24 hours and 48 hours for Azzalure to begin taking effect following the injection. The results continue to develop from this point, with the full effects becoming visible approximately two weeks later.

However, the exact speed will depend on such factors as the strength of your facial muscles and how you respond to the injection.

Does Azzalure last as long as Botox?

There isn’t an obvious difference between the longevity of Azzalure and Botox. The effects of both treatments tend to last for around three to four months.

Of the two, Botox may last slightly longer. However, Azzalure tends to show noticeable results sooner. In any case, individual experiences can greatly vary.

What should you not do after Azzalure?

It is important that you avoid lying down for at least two hours following your Azzalure wrinkle reduction injection. You also shouldn’t exercise immediately after the treatment, or rub or massage the treated area.

Doing any of these things could cause the Azzalure toxin to spread to neighbouring muscle groups, which could affect the results of the treatment.
